Warm temperatures make their way back ahead of next cold front

Heat continues at least 1 more day

ORLANDO, Fla. – Spots of fog cleared Saturday morning to make way for the day's lingering forecast -- heat and mugginess all around.

Sanford tied the record high temperature, set in 2013, of 88 degrees.

The heat continues at least one more day, but by Monday, more seasonal air returns.

Overnight, expect increasing clouds, along with a 40-50 percent chance of some scattered rain showers. Lows Saturday night will range from 68 degrees in Ocala to 69 degrees in Orlando and Melbourne.

Sunday will be hot again, with a 20 percent chance of rain. Highs will once again hit the high 80s.

A cold front passes through Sunday and brings the temperatures for next week back down to the 70s. There is a chance of rain each day except Monday, and Wednesday looks like the most active rain day.

A high of 85 degrees is expected Sunday at Daytona Beach.
