ORLANDO, Fla. – Temperatures across Central Florida will be running nearly 30 degrees warmer than last Christmas, but it is growing increasingly likely that part of the big day will feature rain.

A few showers could sneak into Central Florida on Christmas Eve, but most of Sunday looks to be dry. Expect more clouds than sun, with highs in the mid-70s.

Higher rain chances arrive Christmas Day, with another system developing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Christmas Day

This system will not be nearly as strong as this past weekend, but it will increase rain chances for the holiday. The chance of rain on Christmas is at 40%, with highs in the low 70s.

The weather could stay unsettled for a couple of days following Christmas as well.
