Feeling toasty! Central Florida’s heat wave continues with minimal rainfall | Many cities will feel like the triple digits

ORLANDO, Fl. – Happy weekend!

Saturday will be another scorcher with afternoon highs staying well above average in the middle to upper 90s and feeling like the triple digits. Orlando’s forecast is 96 degrees. Normally highs are around 89.

An area of high pressure will continue to build off Florida’s east coast keeping rain chances low but the the heat high.

Through Saturday afternoon, rain chances will be between 20-30%, mainly south of I-4. An isolated thunderstorm is possible but no severe threats are in the forecast.

Showers and storms slowly dissipate through the evening hours. Through the overnight hours, low temperatures will fall into the lower to middle 70s.

Sunday will feature plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper 90s. Feels like temperatures are expected to be between 101 - 105 degrees staying below the heat advisory threshold. An isolated shower or two can’t be ruled out.

Monday is Memorial Day. If you’re attending any outdoor events, be sure to stay hydrated. It’ll be another hot day with afternoon highs near-record heat with little to no rain.
