ORLANDO, Fla. – A disturbance hanging off the Florida coast that has been partially responsible for widespread storms across Florida on Tuesday has been highlighted for possible tropical development.
Similar to last week, the disturbance is expected to move across the Florida peninsula keeping rain chances high Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Once the disturbance gets over the open water of the Gulf, there is a slim opportunity for tropical development.
