A flood watch is in effect for Volusia and Brevard counties until Sunday morning.
With a stiff breeze off of the Atlantic, rounds of scattered downpours, some heavy, will move into Central Florida.
The heaviest rain will cling to the coast and east of I-4. This is where several inches of rain could fall through the weekend.
Rain chances will be relatively lower west of Orlando, but scattered downpours will still be expected throughout the weekend.
In addition to the rain, it will remain breezy through the weekend, keeping the surf rough and beach conditions dangerous.
