ORLANDO, Fla. – If you enjoy warmer mornings, Monday will bring temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s. Isolated showers are possible due to a passing cold front, but drier air will start moving in behind it before another front arrives on Wednesday.
It’ll be warmer across Central Florida. Highs will reach around 87 degrees in Orlando on Monday, with places like Kissimmee and Titusville hitting 88. Even the coastal cities will stay warm, with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
Another cold front is expected to move through on Wednesday, bringing a few showers. It won’t bring cooler temperatures, but it will help push in drier air behind it.
Tropical weather update: Tracking Invest 98L
As of the 8 p.m. Sunday update, Invest 98L is currently located near the Leeward Islands. The National Hurricane Center puts the odds of development at 30% in the next two days, and 70% as you look further into the week. If development happens, this system would likely form somewhere in the central Caribbean and could become either a tropical depression or tropical storm. The next name on the list is Melissa.
Uncertainty is still high, especially since there’s not a closed circulation yet, so models are having a tough time with the path. For now, the best advice is to stay tuned to updates from the Pinpoint Weather team.
