ORLANDO, FLa. – Isolated showers are possible Sunday evening, but most of the region will stay dry with a steady breeze. Monday kicks off on a breezy note as well, with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Thanks to a strong area of high pressure, conditions will remain dry and comfortable to start the week.
By midweek, the heat begins to build. Afternoon highs are expected to surge into the upper 90s by Thursday, approaching the record of 98° set back in 1915.
Looking ahead to Friday, weather models suggest another cold front moving in. This could spark scattered rain and possibly stall in the area, increasing rain chances to around 50% heading into the weekend.
