ORLANDO, Fla. – The first front of the Fall season has officially crossed over Central Florida, and the weather it is bringing will really get all of us feeling the Fall spirit!
Tonight
Strong NNE winds will persist overnight, blowing at around 10-15mph with gusts in the 20s. These winds will keep clouds and spotty showers moving through the area. Rain chances will favor areas east of I-4. Low temperatures will drop into the low 70s. A coastal flood advisory is in effect for Flagler and Volusia counties as these strong winds mixed with a high tide around 8pm may bring minor flooding along the immediate coast.
Friday
Strong NNE winds continue for Friday which will bring a similar weather setup as Thursday. We will wake up to mostly cloudy skies. Cloud cover will gradually break apart as the afternoon rolls on. With our strong onshore winds persisting, we will once again see the fast-moving, spotty drizzles for areas east of I-4. Temperatures will reach the mid 80s.
This Weekend
Saturday and Sunday is where the magic happens as our skies clear and our winds calm down and shift out of the northwest. This is the perfect recipe to get cooler conditions. We will wake up to temperatures in the mid 60s both Saturday and Sunday morning! Highs in the afternoon will climb into the mid 80s with bountiful sunshine and low humidity. This is a weekend you need to make sure you spend outside!
