ORLANDO, Fla. – In the National Hurricane Center’s 8 p.m. Saturday Tropical Weather Outlook, a small tropical wave near the Cabo Verde Islands was given a 0% chance of development in the next 48 hours and a 60% chance over the next seven days.
Dry air is expected to linger across the eastern Atlantic, limiting tropical development in the short term. However, conditions could become more favorable later in the week and a tropical depression may form by mid to late next week.
