ORLANDO, Fla. – Tropical Storm Lorenzo is showing clear signs of weakening.
Satellite imagery on Tuesday revealed that its center is now exposed and drifting northwest.
Despite moving into an area of lower wind shear, Lorenzo is struggling to stay organized.

The storm is moving northwest and is expected to turn north Tuesday night, then shift northeast by midweek as it gets pulled into faster upper-level winds.
While it may linger a bit longer due to warm waters and low shear, confidence in its survival is low.
Lorenzo is no threat to the United States and is expected to remain over open waters.
