Orlando painter dies after 50-foot fall, deputies say
ORLANDO, Fla. – A man died Monday after falling 50 feet from a cart while he was painting a building on South Orange Avenue in Orlando, authorities said.
The 58-year-old painter fell from a building at 8188 S. Orange Ave. at 12:28 p.m., deputies said.
Orange County Fire Rescue took him to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The painter was a contractor, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
OSHA has been notified, the sheriff’s office said.
