MTV star Tyler Pratt arrested, BCSO says

Pratt to go before judge Wednesday

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Brevard County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Tyler Pratt, an MTV personality, according to News 6 partner Florida Today.

On Tuesday, deputies arrested 26-year-old Pratt of Merritt Island on an out-of-county warrant.

He was taken into custody on an out-of-county warrant issued by Orange County in April. The warrant was related to a reckless-driving charge.

Pratt appeared on season two of MTV's reality dating competition "Are You the One" in 2014. He and his teammates nabbed the $1 million prize for the show.

Pratt commented on a FLORIDA TODAY Facebook post regarding this story: "I came back to Florida for the holidays and I turned myself in early yesterday morning to Brevard Sheriff's Department to serve a warrant on a wreckless driving charge I have in Orange County. I felt that turning myself in was the right thing to do to put this charge behind me and the sheriffs department were great and had me in and out in less than a few hours. I do not have court today ... Now that we have that straightened out, Happy Holidays everyone and thank you for all your support!"

Pratt graduated from Merritt Island High in 2009. He previously worked as a server at Carrabba's in Melbourne and Merritt Island.
