Man shot in stomach near Orlando elementary school Victim found 9 miles from shooting scene, police say
ORLANDO, Fla. –
An Orlando man is recovering after being shot in the stomach, police said.
Police told News 6 that the shooting happened just before 9 p.m. Tuesday on Rose Bay Drive, about a block from Rosemont Elementary School.
Investigators said they found the victim about 9 miles away on 18th Street. He was taken to the hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police have not released any other details about the shooting.
