Pedestrian struck, killed in Orange County crash, troopers say

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left a pedestrian dead Saturday night, troopers said.

Troopers said a woman was driving south on Florida Rock Road around 9:30 p.m. when her car struck and killed a pedestrian.

It is unknown which direction the pedestrian was traveling when he was hit, troopers said.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, the Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said charges against the driver are pending and the crash is still under investigation.
