ORLANDO, Fla. – A teenage boy was hospitalized Sunday after he was shot in Orlando, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies said the boy was shot at the Silver Star Apartments at 5602 Silver Star Road around 12:30 p.m.
The teen, who deputies said was not cooperating with investigators, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries after the shooting, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said the parent of the victim declined to proceed with a criminal investigation, but added that the shooting is still being investigated.
