Masked man shoots, stabs 26-year-old at Orange County apartments Victim was using phone at time of incident, deputies say
ORLANDO, Fla. – A 26-year-old man was shot and stabbed by a masked man early Tuesday at an Orange County apartment complex, deputies said.
The incident was reported at 12:38 a.m. at the Valencia Trace Apartments near the State Road 408-417 interchange. Valenica College is located less than a half-mile from the complex.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said a man was on his phone in the breezeway of the complex when he was approached by a man wearing a mask, who shot and stabbed the victim.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The assailant fled the scene and has not been found.
Police said it's not known if it was a random attack.
No other details have been released.
