Police say that Smith was taken to a hospital after the shooting for an unintended gunshot he suffered during the shooting. After securing warrants for both suspects, police arrested Smith in Orlando and Brown in Cocoa.

Police arrived at the scene of the shooting Friday night to find Bell with multiple gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told police that Bell had been on the phone before the shooting, repeating the phrase "I don't mean you any disrespect." Shortly after, Bell looked out the front window and walked outside, according to police reports.

Reports state that Bell got into a confrontation with five men outside of his home, and three of the men held him still as he was shot twice in the upper torso by one suspect before being shot three more times by another.

Based on multiple witness accounts, police were able to identify Smith and Brown as the suspects in the case.

Both suspects are being held at Brevard County Jail Complex on no bond status.

Police officers said the shooting is not related to a separate shooting death that occurred Monday night near Palmetto Street.

According to Titusville Police Department, the case remains an active criminal investigation and no further information will be released until the investigation is concluded.

Police said anyone with information leading to an arrest in this case may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $5000.00 by calling CRIMELINE at 800-423-TIPS.
