ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people are dead after a crash Saturday evening in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 8:41 p.m. near Orange Blossom Trail and Barley Club Drive.
Troopers said a Cadillac was heading north on Orange Blossom Trail above the posted speed limit while a Kia was stopped westbound on Barley Club Drive.
The driver of the Cadillac lost control of the vehicle and struck the curb. Troopers said the Cadillac left the roadway and the front of the vehicle struck the left side of the Kia.
The driver and a passenger in the Kia have died, troopers said. The driver in the Cadillac suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
