Another lewd act reported in parking garage near UCF, deputies say

Deputies, police seek man accused of performing lewd acts near UCF since 2015

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was reportedly committing a lewd act between cars at a University of Central Florida student housing parking garage Thursday morning, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

A 911 caller reported someone was on the third floor of the parking garage at Plaza on University committing a lewd act. Deputies didn't have information as to what the person was doing.

UCF police are assisting the investigation and trying to determine if this is connected to other similar incidents committed on the UCF campus over the past three years.

Earlier this month, UCF police and Seminole County Sheriff's Office officials said a man accused of committing lewd acts on campus since 2015 is being sought by authorities.

Deputies said the most recent incident happened at 3:45 a.m. on Oct. 28 while the victim was in a parking garage for Station of Alafaya, a student apartment complex in unincorporated Oviedo.

Deputies said the man is white, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with facial hair and glasses. He is in his mid-20s.

UCF police said the man matches the description of the suspect they're looking for in connection with multiple similar lewd acts on or near parking garages on campus in July 2018 and March 2015.
