ORLANDO, Fla. – Two half-brothers have been convicted of second-degree murder in a 2016 drive-by shooting that killed two innocent bystanders in Orlando.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that a jury found Lavon Shinn and Christopher Miller guilty on all counts in the deaths of 24-year-old Gino Nicolas and 46-year-old Tanya Skeen.

Prosecutors said Shinn had got into a fight with members of a gang and planned retaliation with his brother. Nicolas, a community activist, and Skeen, a mother who was putting away groceries, were caught in the gunfire.
Miller testified he had nothing to do with the shooting, and Shinn's attorney argued prosecutors didn't prove Shinn was in the car.
Shinn and Miller are scheduled for sentencing on Feb. 13.
