Man barricades himself inside Apopka home, deputies say

A man with a warrant for his arrest has barricaded himself inside a home in Apopka, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

After deputies made contact with the man, he fled and barricaded himself inside of a home in the 1110 block of South Central Avenue, deputies said.

The man eventually walked out of the home peacefully and was taken into custody, deputies said.

One person has since exited the home, but deputies believe the man with the arrest warrant is still inside, deputies said.
