Arrest made in fatal Orange County shooting on New Year’s Day Suspect faces first-degree murder charge

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An arrest has been made in a shooting that killed a 26-year-old man on New Year’s Day, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Jovanny Andre Boche was found on Chapel Trace Drive around 2:50 a.m. Friday and was taken to a hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. He died as a result of the shooting less than 12 hours later.

Records show Joshua Torres Ayala, 25, was arrested Monday on a charge of first-degree murder.
Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
