SANFORD, Fla. – Sanford police have found a missing 8-year-old girl they believed may have been in danger.
Police said in a Facebook post, Nyonni Sharine Buckhannan was last seen near her home at San Jancinto Circle in Sanford on Monday around 2 p.m. She was later found safe.
According to the post, family members told police Nyonni was sitting in the garage, and when someone went to check on her, she was gone.
