FRUITLAND PARK, Fla. – Two people were shot inside an apartment Wednesday during a drive-by shooting in Fruitland Park, according to the police department.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Urick Street at Fruitland Acres apartment complex after a gunman opened fire around 11:10 a.m.
According to police, a passenger in a vehicle fired several shots, two of which struck two people inside an apartment.

The two victims, whose ages have not been released, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said there have been no arrests and an investigation is ongoing.
