1 injured after sale of puppy leads to argument, stabbing in downtown Orlando, police say

Incident happened in area of Pine Street and Orange Avenue

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man faces charges after police said he stabbed another person over an argument stemming from the sale of a puppy, according to Orlando police.

Police said that on Saturday around 8:24 p.m. officers arrived to the area of Pine Street and Orange Avenue to investigate a stabbing.

According to a news release, police located an individual with multiple stab wounds.

Police said the suspect, 28-year-old Jarmin McLemore, was “quickly apprehended.”

According to the release, the stabbing was an isolated incident from an argument over the sale of a puppy.

The victim was listed in stable condition.

McLemore faces charges of aggravated battery with great bodily harm, Orlando police said.
