Woman found shot to death in Orange County ID’d; man arrested

Suspect ‘secured’ without incident, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A woman in her 20s was found shot to death Monday morning in Orange County, according to sheriff’s officials, and a man has been arrested in the case.

The fatal shooting happened around 7:40 a.m. near South Goldenrod Road and Nolton Way.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the area and found Muralla De Santiago, 26, shot. She was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

Sheriff’s officials said the suspected shooter was immediately located and secured without incident. He’s been identified as John Beaucejour, 32.

Authorities said the shooting was domestic-related, but no other details have been released.

An investigation is ongoing.
