LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla – Four limited-time celebrations are happening across Walt Disney World this summer.

From meet-and-greets to dazzling shows to celebrating a classic animated Disney film from the 90s, there’s magic in store throughout the resort.

Disney Springs

Drones magically form various Disney characters in the sky, including Baymax from Disney’s “Big Hero 6,” during testing in France of the new nighttime show coming to Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. later this month. At Disney Springs, drones will dazzle the skies above Lake Buena Vista with “Disney Dreams That Soar.” The late-night visitors will see a showcase of Disney stories celebrating the joy of flight with state-of-the-art drones choreographed to create designs in the sky and paired with a “soaring” musical score. The drone show will run nightly through Sept. 2.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A meet-and-greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have guests bursting with joy. Just in time for Disney Pixar’s “Inside Out 2,” Joy has joined Pixar stars at Pixar Plaza.

If you can’t get enough of Disney’s Encanto, talking and singing about Bruno will be happening at EPCOT.

A new summer sing-along featuring the beloved songs and story of the Disney animated film is in development. This new limited-time show, “¡Celebración Encanto!” runs several times throughout the day and will not only invite you and your family to sing along with some of your favorite songs, but you’ll also spot Mirabel and Bruno on the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza stage.

Guests are also able to stroll through a fully transformed EPCOT. CommuniCore Hall is home to the iconic EPCOT festivals as well as the Mickey & Friends meet-and-greet.

Before Encanto’s music had us singing about the Family Madrigal, we had “Hakuna Matata” constantly on loop.

“The Lion King” turns 30 this summer, and the celebration for the animated film will prowl throughout the entire park from June 10 - Sept. 6.

The celebration includes new merchandise, menu items plus a special meet-and-greet with Timon and Rafiki at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

In addition to these new summer experiences, Disney World also announced the return of H20 Glow After Hours.
