COCOA, Fla. – Law enforcement officials are looking for four people after a Florida Highway Patrol patrol car pursuing a suspected stolen car collided with the vehicle.
FHP says a trooper was pursuing a 2016 Nissan Altima believed to be stolen Friday, exiting I-95 northbound in Cocoa. The agency says the trooper tried to perform a PIT maneuver to stop the Nissan in the area of Pineda Street and Allen Street when the Nissan swerved into the patrol car. Both vehicles hit a utility pole, and troopers say four people got out of the Nissan and fled.
