Orlando police seek sedan that killed bicyclist in hit-and-run crash (Orlando Police Department)
ORLANDO, Fla. – A $5,000 reward is being offered for information in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Orlando.
The crash happened around 11:15 p.m. on June 15 on South Semoran Boulevard near Pershing Avenue. The Orlando Police Department said a white sedan struck and killed 35-year-old Charles Avery Murphy.
The vehicle was seen near Curry Ford Road after the crash and may have a damaged front bumper and windshield.
Orlando police released two videos showing the sedan in the area of South Semoran Boulevard and Lake Mary Drive and then later near a Sedano’s parking lot.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police department’s Traffic Homicide Unit at 407-246-2995, or Crimeline at 800-423-8477 to remain anonymous.
