Large deputy response at Orange County apartment complex

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An investigation is underway in Orange County after the sheriff’s office received an emergency call Monday morning.

Around 2:30 a.m., deputies responded to the Citrus Oaks Apartments off Orange Blossom Trail near Holden Avenue.

Few details have been released, but officials said one person was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert.

Dispatch audio indicated a deputy was involved in an altercation, and the same audio indicating the trauma alert was not the deputy.
