Orlando police seek person of interest in fatal 2022 shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. – New photos from Orlando police show a person of interest in a 2022 shooting death that investigators are now calling a murder.

Ruben Davila, 40, was fatally shot on Nov. 15, 2022 in the area of Michigan Street and South Semoran Boulevard.

The 911 caller told police that they heard a loud bang before finding Davila, their roommate, unconscious with an apparent gunshot wound. At the time, detectives said they believed that the suspect was someone who knew Davila.

Orlando police Thursday on social media shared photos depicting a person of interest in Davila’s death, seen wearing a blue shirt with a large image on the front, an orange and black face mask and Jordan 3 sneakers.
