1 dead, 1 injured in Daytona Beach shooting; shooter sought Shooting draws large police response to Butler Boulevard
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting early Tuesday that prompted a large police response in Daytona Beach.
The shooting happened along Butler Boulevard, according to the police department.
Daytona Beach police Chief Jakari Young told News 6 the shooting happened at a “problem house” that has been a source of complaint for neighbors.
Police are still searching for the shooter.
Residents are asked to avoid the area.
An investigation is ongoing.
