‘CAN YOU HELP US...?’ Human remains found near Central Florida marshland, deputies say

Individual reported wearing cowboy boots and rosary-style necklace

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Earlier this month, Orange County deputies discovered human remains near the Lake Ellenor marshland, and they’re now asking the public for help in determining the identity.

In a release, deputies said the remains were found on Aug. 13, and the individual is estimated to be around 5 feet, 2 inches tall.

Other details provided about the individual are as follows:

  • Had apparent orthodontic brackets consistent with dental braces
  • Wearing a rosary-style necklace
  • Wearing a light-colored t-shirt
  • Wearing Hanes dark-colored underwear
  • Wearing size 32/32 True Luck jeans and a black cloth belt
  • Wearing cowboy boots
    • These appeared to be size 6 Dan Post Vintage Blue Wing Boots in teal and brown, with a Masterson tag inside
