TITUSVILLE, Fla. – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has enhanced its emergency response capabilities with new lifesaving equipment.
Funded by a generous grant of over $35,000 from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, the new gear includes an inflatable shelter, insulation liner, a cooling and heating system, lighting, and various accessories.

The improvements will provide first responders with better protection during emergency deployments, particularly in severe weather conditions such as hurricanes, according to a news release.
On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office will hold a grant award celebration at 11:30 a.m. at Firehouse Subs at 2520 S. Washington Ave in Titusville.
The event will feature an official check presentation and a demonstration of the new equipment.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Executive Director Robin Peters, and Firehouse Subs franchisee Britt Diaz are set to attend.
