52-year-old man shot, killed during ‘domestic dispute’ in Volusia County, deputies say

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 52-year-old man was shot and killed on Monday evening, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the fatal shooting was reported on Tomoka Woods Parkway in DeLeon Springs around 9:15 p.m.

According to a news release, the shooting happened “during a series of physical altercations stemming from a domestic dispute.”

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.

According to the release, the shooting remains under investigation and no charges have been filed as of this report.
