UCF changes name of football stadium. Here’s what it is now

Board of trustees met Thursday

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The University of Central Florida’s Board of Trustees changed the name of FBC Mortgage Stadium during a meeting on Thursday.

UCF’s football stadium has been renamed to Acrisure Bounce House, according to the university.

The stadium has long been nicknamed the “Bounce House” in spite of any naming agreements due to how it shakes around when the fans start jumping. Not only does the new name serve as a callback in that sense, but the stadium was even officially called the Bounce House for a time before being named FBC Mortgage Stadium in 2022.

Thursday’s approval follows Acrisure’s acquisition of FBC, completed in April 2024, and is part of the existing naming and sponsorship agreement between UCF Athletics and FBC Mortgage, LLC, the agenda states.
