News 6 anchor’s Ulta Beauty World surprise

Massive beauty show to open Thursday in Orlando

It’s one of the hottest tickets in town and News 6 will take you there.

We’re talking about Ulta Beauty World. It’s being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando on Thursday, April 16th, 2026, and it’s an event millions of people were hoping to attend.

News 6 Anchor Lisa Bell has more on the surprising way she got a ticket.

Back in January, social media was full of people trying to get a $160 ticket to get inside Ulta Beauty World and also get the highly coveted Ulta swag bag loaded with $2,000 worth of products.

According to a post on X from Ulta, more than 3 million people entered the online queue for 3,000 tickets and they all sold out in 71 minutes.

So you can imagine Bell’s surprise a few weeks ago, when she got an e-mail from Ulta offering admission to the event. In fact, she deleted it thinking it was fake. A few days later, Ulta reached out to the News 6 assignment desk, and it caught the attention of our planning editor, Victoria Lyons, who managed to register Bell along with photojournalist Robert Breuer.

They plan to showcase everything the Ulta Beauty World has to offer. Follow along at clickorlando.com.

And if you were one of the thousands of people left behind and unable to get your hands on a ticket, we’re sorry, but here’s the good news: plans are already in the works for a third Ulta Beauty World next year.
