Additional warnings and/or advisories will likely be issued for the rest of Central Florida later Monday or early Tuesday morning.

Actual air temperatures are expected to surge into the upper 90s.

Highs Tuesday

With the humidity factored in, the heat index will climb into the 105-115 ballpark.

The heat index is important as the higher the index, the harder it is for your body to naturally cool itself.

Highs are expected to remain in the mid-to-upper 90s through Thursday before falling into the lower 90s for the weekend.
