Man caught driving 107 mph in a 45 mph zone according to deputies

PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. – A man is facing charges related to super speeding after the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said he was caught driving 107 mph in a 45 mph zone.

The sheriff’s office said a deputy conducting speed checks on State Road 528 near Port Canaveral clocked a white Lamborghini traveling 107 mph.

The sheriff’s office said the driver, identified as Corey Weedman, was pulled over.

Deputy’s said that’s when he told them it was a “big night” and he rented the car to celebrate.

Weedman was arrested and booked into the Brevard County Jail.

He is facing charges of driving 50 mph or more over the speed limit.

Weedman’s bond was set at $500.
