OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – An Osceola County pastor faces decades in prison after a jury convicted him of repeatedly raping a woman who came to him seeking spiritual guidance.
Eddy Noelsaint, 54, was found guilty this week of four counts of sexual battery against a member of his church. The assaults occurred in 2022 after the woman joined his congregation and was assigned a “spiritual godmother” — Noelsaint’s wife — as part of her baptism.

The victim told investigators that Noelsaint first raped her while she was staying at his home as part of her spiritual revival. She said he gave her pills, then forced himself on her while she was unable to fight back. Noelsaint raped her again several months later, she told investigators.
State Attorney Monique Worrell thanked the victim for her strength throughout the process following the verdict.
"This verdict represents justice for a survivor who showed tremendous courage in coming forward and trusting the criminal justice system," said State Attorney Monique Worrell. "This conviction ensures that a sexual predator has been held accountable for his crimes."
Noelsaint is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
