OVIEDO, Fla. – A Central Florida teen who is a national spokesperson for BASE Camp children's cancer foundation and is well-known for her YouTube makeup videos lost her six-year battle with cancer on Tuesday.
Talia Joy Castellano, 13, passed away at 11:22 a.m. Tuesday "peacefully with her family by her side," according to a release from her public relations representative.

Talia was fighting Neuroblastoma since the age of 7, when she was diagnosed in 2007. She was cancer free for 13 months but relapsed in Sept. 2008. She was cancer free for almost 2 years, but relapsed a second time on August 13, 2010 and relapsed again for a third time on April 8, 2011, according to her Facebook page.
Talia's makeup tutorials on YouTube earned 650,000 subscribers and 175,000 fans on Facebook. Talia also told of her fight with cancer through Vlogs and was made an honorary Covergirl and appeared in an ad in People Magazine. She also was interviewed on The Ellen Show, made her own clothing line and was featured in a documentary movie "The Truth 365," which advocated more resources for childhood cancer.
Thousands of fans posted their condolences on the Angels for Talia Facebook page. A private service will be held for Talia's family and close friends. A Celebration of Life for her fans will be held at a later date, according to the release.
