If you're sick of being ignored every time you call or text your child, there's an app for that.

Sharon Standifird invented it after she called and texted her teenagers and they didn't respond. After finding out that they were safe -- and simply ignoring her calls -- she decided to put a stop to it.
"We need to develop an app that just shuts their phone completely down and they can't even use it," Standifird said. "And I started- literally just started researching how to develop an app."
It took months of designing and working with developers, but soon her app was born. She called it "Ignore No More."
"As a parent, all I have to do is touch the app, tap his name," Standifird said, referring to her son, Bradley. "To lock Bradley's device, enter at least a 4-digit unlock code. And now I'm going to press 'lock Bradley's phone.' And if you watch Bradley's phone, it's going to go blank. Bradley needs to call me because I'm the person that has the unlock password."
The teen can only contact a small list of people the parent allows, until the teen calls the parent for the password.
"It takes away texting, it takes away the gaming, it takes away calling their friends," she said. "The child will always be able to call 911."
Her husband, William was not surprised she was able to pull it off.
"Anything she's ever really set her mind to, she's done," he said. And that list of accomplishments includes climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, and serving in the Gulf War, in addition to creating the app.
Her son has mixed feelings about her latest accomplishment.
"Um, well I thought it was a good idea, but for other people, not me," he said.
The app currently can lock a child's android device, and a version that can lock a child's iPhone is expected in March of this year.
