Forget the gingerbread house. Check out this Buc-ee’s replica

Texas couple combines love for Christmas, gas station staple

For many people, a holiday tradition is all about building a gingerbread house.

But what about making a gas station staple instead?

A Texas couple combined their love for Christmas and Buc-ee’s to make a sweet creation -- a Buc-ee’s gingerbread house! Check it out in the video player above.

Buc-ee’s, the brainchild of Arch Aplin III, first opened in Texas in 1982, expanding throughout the state before expanding across the South, including in Florida in recent years.

Another location opening in 2025 in Marion County will feature an 80,000-square-foot travel center.
