Don’t worry...there are NO active storms out there. I just wanted to drop a line because A. I miss talking to you and B. we had some pretty significant tropical news come out Wednesday.
During the offseason, each storm gets a final report. Well, Wednesday was Melissa’s turn.
In the report the winds were upgraded from 185mph to 190mph. Wild.
This honestly comes as no surprise. We talked about this in one of the newsletters following the storm that the case could be made that maximum sustained winds reached 190mph. The report Wednesday confirmed it.
Here is the full story and more about where the storm ranks in hurricane history.
I’d say I’m looking forward to chatting with you again, but that would mean the season that shall not be named is upon us.
Hope you are well!
