Halloween season is ramping up in Central Florida, and SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream is leaning hard into 90s nostalgia this year.

Cindi Miller, vice president of Entertainment for SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica, said the 90s theme is front and center for this year’s event, headlined by a haunt inspired by “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”

Halloween Horror Nights 35 is just days away. I did some perusing around Universal Studios Florida recently to get a lay of the land.

From Pinhead’s hellish domain and Vecna’s final chapter to clown-filled streets and vampire-overrun juke joints, Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights 35 is unleashing 10 all-new haunted houses, six scare zones, and a sinister carnival of chaos

Dark days 💀🐍

Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle (Universal Destinations & Experiences)

Darkness is descending on Universal Orlando Resort.

The fan-favorite projection show returns to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure, unleashing Dementors, Death Eaters, and Lord Voldemort’s forces on Hogwarts Castle for the first time since 2022.

And if that’s not enough, Halloween Horror Nights also means it’s Death Eater season, with Death Eaters roaming the shadows of Knockturn Alley at Universal Studios Florida.

One of the most original Halloween experiences in Central Florida is back.

Gatorland Orlando’s Gators, Ghosts and Goblins returns for its eighth year, bringing cryptid creatures, spooky fun and candy-filled weekends in October.

D23 is in the books, and Disney fans now have a much clearer picture of what’s coming to Magic Kingdom, with both Piston Peak and Villains Land each boasting two confirmed rides.

Come face to face with the real-life Tsukán on Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent at Animal Kingdom. (Disney Parks)

One announcement that has me buzzing is that for the first time at any Disney park worldwide, Harrison Ford’s likeness will serve as the model for the Indiana Jones Audio-Animatronics figure in Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

It’s a detail that feels long overdue — especially considering the character has appeared in Disney attractions for decades without Ford’s iconic face.

I put together a wrap of the D23 Walt Disney World announcements, which includes photos of upcoming attraction showcases.
