STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES — Jaguars are looking for their second 2-0 start since 2006. ... Jags have lost six straight in Nashville, including the last two in lopsided fashion. It’s the second-longest road losing streak in franchise history. ... Coach Doug Marrone and his wife, the daughter of former Middle Tennessee State coach Boots Donnelly, still have a farm outside Nashville. ... QB Gardner Minshew completed 19 of 20 passes for 173 yards and three TDs in Week 1. He became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least three TDs and complete at least 95% of his passes on opening weekend. This will mark Minshew’s 16th career start, giving him a full season. He has thrown for 3,444 yards, with 24 TDs and six INTs in the first 15 games. ... Jacksonville started three rookies in the opener: running back James Robinson, cornerback CJ Henderson and receiver Laviska Shenault. Robinson totaled 90 yards from scrimmage, second in the league for rookies behind Kansas City’s Clyde Edwards-Helaire (138). Henderson had four pass breakups, including an interception, and one on a fourth-down play that sealed the victory. Shenault had a receiving touchdown and ran twice out of the wildcat formation. ... Jacksonville will be without starting FS Jarrod Wilson (hamstring). Second-year pro Andrew Wingard is expected to start in his place. ... Titans looking for their first 2-0 start since 2008, also the last time they won the AFC South. ... QB Ryan Tannehill led 17th winning drive of his career and fourth with Titans last week. ... Tannehill threw two TDs in opening win, his 10th game with two or more TD passes since the start of the 2019 season, tying Ravens QB Lamar Jackson for most in the AFC in that span. ... Tannehill threw for 14 TDs with three rushing TDs in six home games last season. ... RB Derrick Henry ran for 116 yards in opener, his seventh game with 100 or more yards rushing since the start of 2019. He's tied with Nick Chubb and Ezekiel Elliott for most in that span. ... WR Corey Davis led Titans with seven catches for 101 yards in opener. ... S Kevin Byard forced his first career fumble last week and has an interception in two of his last three divisional games. ... DE Jadeveon Clowney had tackle for loss in his Titans debut. ... Fantasy tip: Henry. The 2019 NFL rushing leader is averaging 151.3 yards per game with six TDs in his past four games inside the AFC South, and he has seven rushing TDs in his past three games against the Jaguars.
