Alex Kessman was signed from the practice squad Saturday to replace the struggling Matt Ammendola, but missed both of his first two extra point opportunities in his NFL debut. After Elijah Moore’s 3-yard touchdown catch gave the Jets the lead over the Philadelphia Eagles, Kessman was wide left on the point after. But Kessman was wide left again on the extra point, prompting boos from the Jets fans at MetLife Stadium. Enjoying a big performance about 25 miles from his hometown of Yulee was something new for Henry. He managed just 13 yards as a rookie in 2016, followed by outings of 92, 57 and 44 yards in front of friends and family. Henry had 170 yards on 17 carries in the first 30 minutes, including a 36-yard touchdown run. He added a 47-yard scamper early in the third as the Titans (9-4) started to pull away. AFC South-leading Tennessee clinched its fifth consecutive winning season and moved a step closer to securing a playoff berth.

That means that going into tonight’s Saints-Buccaneers showdown, home teams are 65-65-1 so far this season. That homefield advantage has largely been erased with sparse crowds or no fans at games because of the coronavirus pandemic. Las Vegas though has taken control on its first two drives of the second half. Neither had started an NFL game, but both have been in the league much longer than DiNucci. After Badgley's 35-yard field goal on the opening drive, rookie Joe Reed scored his first NFL touchdown on a 7-yard jet sweep around right end. It was the Chargers' first rushing touchdown since Herbert in Week 2 against Kansas City.

Stafford, Swift, Lions protect big lead, pound Jaguars 34-16
This was a victory the Detroit Lions probably needed more than they would admit. Detroit (2-3) made this one look easy, somewhat surprising considering the Lions had lost six straight in which they led by double digits. SOCIAL INJUSTICEAs they’ve done all season, players from Detroit and Jacksonville remained in their locker rooms for the national anthem. The Lions had 30 players lined up along the goal line for the anthem, with seven of them — including Stafford — taking a knee. HOUSTON – Costly errors and an inability to take advantage of Houston’s mistakes gave the Jacksonville Jaguars another loss to a previously winless team on Sunday and left them in last place in the AFC South. “We’ve got to look in the mirror, re-evaluate and just find a way to win,” Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew said. Sidney Jones intercepted Watson twice, giving the Jaguars a boost on a day they played without three defensive starters because of injuries. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Quarterback Gardner Minshew II was among the players who the Jaguars announced Sunday had been placed on the teams Reserve/COVID-19 list, News 6 partner WJXT-TV reported. Running back Ryquell Armstead, wide receiver Michael Walker and safety Andrew Wingard were also placed on the teams list. Players who are added to the list havent necessarily tested positive for the coronavirus. If a player tests positive for the coronavirus but is asymptomatic, he has to have two negative tests within five days after the positive test. If hes only been exposed to an infected person, he just needs a second negative test within 24 hours of the initial negative test.
