Magic guard Markelle Fultz out for the year with torn ACL

Fultz suffered the injury in first quarter in game against Cavaliers

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz is out for the year with a torn ACL.

Fultz suffered the left knee injury in the first quarter of the Magic’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

The former first overall pick was traded by the Philadelphia 76ers to the Magic in February of 2019.

Fultz averaged 12 points a game and five assists a game last season.

In seven games this year, Fultz was averaging 14 points a game and six assists a game.
