Eww! Video shows rat crawling inside school vending machine

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – A video circulating on social media shows a rat inside a vending machine at a Palm Beach County school. 

A student at Atlantic Community High School captured the video. 

In the video, the rat can be seen climbing through the machine and coming in contact with the packaged food. 

Officials with school district confirmed that the rat was spotted Tuesday. 

In a statement, the district said the vending machine company was immediately called and an emergency work order for an exterminator was filed. 

School officials said the vending machine company is responsible for fixing any problems.
