WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Excitement is building for the return of LEGO Festival this summer at Legoland Florida Resort.

Running July 20 through Aug. 16, this year’s event is bigger than ever, featuring five immersive zones — including two brand-new additions — and is included with regular park admission.

The all-new Play Zone is headlined by LEGO Pokémon, giving Trainers of all ages a chance to bond with, nurture and battle a selection of five Pokémon through hands-on activities. Guests will also get an early look at the new LEGO Pokémon Smart Play sets before they hit shelves in August.

“LEGO Pokémon brings an exciting new way for families to play together at this year’s LEGO Festival,” said Brian Bacica, Park President of Legoland Florida Resort, in a news release. “Whether you’re a lifelong Pokémon fan or discovering it for the first time, families can build and share unforgettable moments together through hands-on experiences.”

Also headlining this year, the brand-new Thrill Zone shifts gears with LEGO F1 taking center stage.

Families can race against the clock in the Brick Stop Challenge, a hands-on pit stop tire change built around teamwork. The Pit Lane Hype Show brings race day energy to life through live drums and percussion performed with tools and snapping bricks. Kids and adults can also design, build and race their own LEGO F1 brick vehicles.
